Dr. Maximilian Preisser, MSc in Law and Finance (Oxford), born in Hutthurm near Passau in 1984, has been working in the Legal Department of Hubert Burda Media Holding KG since February 2017. There, he took on various legal leadership roles and was appointed General Counsel in 2020. In 2022, he was elected to the Supervisory Board of HolidayCheck Group AG. In 2026, he was appointed to the Executive Board with responsibility for equity participations, M&A, legal affairs, compliance, and sustainability.

 

 

 

Dr. Lydia Rullkötter

Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of HolidayCheck Group AG

Dr. Lydia Rullkötter, born in Hanover in 1980, studied Business Administration and earned a doctorate from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. During her studies, she also spent time in Düsseldorf, Paris, and Toronto.

She began her professional career in 2003 as a management consultant specializing in the retail and consumer goods sectors at the international consulting firm McKinsey & Company. In 2012, she joined Hubert Burda Media, where she held a variety of senior leadership positions across the group. From June 2024, Lydia Rullkötter served as Co-CEO of BurdaForward, the digital publishing company behind leading brands such as FOCUS Online, BUNTE.de, CHIP.de, and TV Spielfilm.

Since the beginning of 2026, she has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Executive Board of Hubert Burda Media Holding.

Dr. Dirk Altenbeck, born in Essen in 1965, has been a certified tax advisor since 2001 and a managing partner of the PKF Issing Faulhaber Wozar Altenbeck Group (audit and tax advisory) in Würzburg. Dr. Altenbeck’s advisory focus lies in structuring large family-owned businesses, transaction advisory, and international tax structuring.

Since 2003, Dr. Altenbeck has also been teaching “International Income Tax Law” at Julius-Maximilians-University in Würzburg. He holds several advisory board and supervisory board mandates in family-owned and publicly listed companies.
