Dr. Dirk Altenbeck, born in 1965 in Essen/Germany, has been a tax consultant and managing partner of PKF Issing Faulhaber Wozar Altenbeck GmbH & Co.KG, Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Steuerberatungsgesellschaft in Würzburg since 2001. Dr Altenbeck's main areas of consultancy are the structuring of large family businesses, transaction advice and international tax structuring. Dr Altenbeck has also taught "International Income Tax Law" at the Julius Maximilian University in Würzburg/Germany since 2003.
Previously, Dr Altenbeck worked as an independent tax consultant and as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Taxation at the Julius Maximilian University in Würzburg from 1992 to 1997. He also taught as a guest lecturer within the framework of the European Erasmus Staff Exchange Programme at the University of Swansea in Wales, Great Britain, in 1993. He began his career in the credit department of Bayerische Vereinsbank in Nuremberg.
Dr. Altenbeck studied business administration at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg and received his doctorate in economics in 2001. He is also a trained banker.
