What are the challenges?
In my department we negotiate the commissions with our tourism partners. Additionally we are responsible for the advertising on the different pages of HolidayCheck. We’re interested in sustainable partnerships, both in media sales and in tourism. In negotiations we need meticulous preparation, crystal-clear goals, an eloquent manner and flexibility.
What knowledge and skills are important?
A deep knowledge of the tourism industry and a sense for new trends are essential for working in our department. If you have a quick wit, a talent for analytics and a strategic way of thinking you are the right person for our team. Furthermore, you should be good in interpreting meanings and quickly be able to read situations with god rhetoric skills.
