HolidayCheck Group AG announces change in composition of Management Board – Nate Glissmeyer to succeed Timo Salzsieder as CPO and Senior Vice-President Engineering at the HolidayCheck Group
Munich, Germany, 20 December 2016 – Nate Glissmeyer (45) will join the Management Board of HolidayCheck Group AG on 1 January 2017 as Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Senior Vice-President Engineering. He will succeed Timo Salzsieder (47), who will step down from the Management Board of HolidayCheck Group AG at his own request on 28 February 2017.
Nate Glissmeyer currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at Amazon Inc., Seattle (USA), where he is responsible for the ‘Kids and Families, Digital’ division. He has performed a number of senior management roles for Amazon since 2004, leading various software and tech teams. In addition, as Category Manager and Director, he has had responsibility for different e-commerce units. He has been awarded several patents for his inventions. Nate Glissmeyer studied languages and literature at the University of Utah and graduated with a Master of Arts in 1995.
Timo Salzsieder joined the company as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in July 2010. Between 2010 and 2015 he took on further management roles within the Group, including the position of Managing Director at TFT, the Group’s digital services agency, and later as Managing Director at HolidayCheck Solutions GmbH. In 2014 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) at HolidayCheck AG, and in 2015 he joined the Management Board of what is now HolidayCheck Group AG (formerly TOMORROW FOCUS AG) as COO.
Timo Salzsieder will leave the company on very amicable terms in order to pursue a new career challenge.
